I am a Colorado based artist and medical social worker that has developed a unique painting style that is an overpainting of your favorite photo of your pet. This technique preserves the details of the photo while using paint to bring out personalized characteristics of your pet through my artistic approach.
I have created a “Pet History” form that relies on the owners history, relationship and experience's with their pet. The Pet History both contributes to the outcome of the painting and is attached to the backside becoming part of the piece.
I offer an upgrade to my " Traditional-(overlay paintings)" by making them into a "Tuft Painting". My Tuft Paintings incorporates your pets strands of fur into the painting by accentuates and adds to the overall aesthetics of the finished piece. The fur strands add to the motion or patterns of your own pets coat/appearance, or as whiskers, part of a bushy tail, curls, etc.
